Is this a good Halloween costume???PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!!?
Ok, I have to go to a halloween party tomorrow and im not getting my costume till friday so i was thinking of being a punk princess. I'm gonna wear m converse, black leggings, lots of bracelets and necklaces, a tiara, and a dark purple dress.
The dress kinda looks like this but is dark purple, a chiffon lace material with a purple slip underneath, and a sash like that but with no bow and in purple.

And how should i do my hair???
The costume sounds awesome!
I think you should curl your hair but make it a little messy and maybe use a pretty clip to add to the princess part...
Help with rosin problem?
My bow produces a 'sandy' sort of sound after applying rosin, which I assume was cuz there was too much rosin. But when I try to use less rosin the bow hair will slip, which should be cuz there was too little rosin. Even when I thought there was too much and continued playing, instead of gradually getting a better 'sound' as the rosin lessens, the bow hair still won't grip the strings properly. All I get is a gravelly sound. My question is, could the rosin be too dry? Or something to to with the bow hair? I'm into my 3rd month of playing and I've never had this problem before. I'm currently using Paganini rosin. Previously I used some cheap China-made one(which broke after I dropped it).
oopps sorry yeah i play violin
Too much rosin would produce the sandy sound, but it could also be because you are playing too close to the bridge. When the bow hair slips, make sure that you are using enough weight, more rosin isn't always the answer. The rosin isn't too dry. Based on the brand of rosin, I assume that you play violin, but it would have been helpful for you to state this information up front. I suggest that you make sure you have cleaned your strings off. How old are your strings? If they are more than 6 months, you may need new ones. Make sure that you take care of your bow, don't touch the hair and make sure it isn't oily.
