Where do you get your baby's shoes?
My son is just learning to walk and I never put shoes on him. I want to start getting him used to them so that once he takes off, I can put them on him when we got outside. So far, every shoe I have tried with him he has hated. I think they're too stiff. Has anyone found any sort of flexible shoes, maybe with a softer sole, for their baby? I found some at striderite, but I refuse to pay $45.00 for a shoe that he will grow out of in a month or so. Thanks!!
I'm jealous! Our walmarts and Targets here have hardly any Baby Shoes! And yes Made you look---that's a small foot! My 9 month old is a size 5!
Hi. I am not from America but I have just come upon this website on another question

Sorry if it's not right but I saw the website and remembered your question (",)
what is a newborn's Shoe Size?
my best friend and i are both pregnant and im looking to buy her the same baby nike shoes that i bought for my baby. the size i bought said 0c and the salesperson said it would be perfect for a newborn, especially bc they have a soft sole. i know newborns dont really need shoes but i wanted them for a Special Occasion or baby picture. the only thing though is they were about $30 and i'd hate to buy a pair of lil booties that my baby will grow out of in a month. for anyone with experience with baby shoe sizes, would a size 1c be better, as they will last up till the baby is about 3 months or is the slightly bigger shoe a problem?
~soon-to-be mommy with her 1st~
i dont think it would be a problem because a baby that young doesnt move about much so a shoe that is slightly too big shoul dbe ok, the only thing is newborns feet are TINY so even with the right size shoe they can look too big for the body, so if you go a size up it might look really silly. but then youve still got the shoes for when the baby is a bit bigger. if it were me, id get the 1c and then if it looked way too big maybe buy a less expensive pair for the time being, thats better than gettin 0c and trying to squeeze them into a 0c for too long ( where a shoe that is too big at this age souldnt cause problems, a shoe that is too small could cause a lot of problems and discomfort.
good luck, congrats and sorry for waffling
